Corey’s Midweek Meadows – 6th October

Race 1:
QUARTER BALE (6) faced an absolute rocket last start in Wow She’s Fast but still managed to run 30.26 in tough conditions at Sandown, he will naturally be closer to the bunny which may bring sharp improvement. POT LUCK CHUCK (7) will need to jump better than his previous start here but looks to have some talent. NORTHERN ERA (3) is from the strong Jeff Britton camp and is better than form reads. TIGGERLONG NIBEL (2) has claims following a placing on debut at Bendigo.

Selections: 6-7-3-2

Race 2:
TIGGERLONG GAS (1) is well drawn, has early speed and can make every post a winner. ISHMY RUBY (5) was impressive leading all the way at Bendigo last start. BARNSY (7) was a strong winner on debut at Geelong and should be on the improve up to this distance range. LIMIT SWITCH (4) has plenty of strength and with clear air can run well.

Selections: 1-5-7-4

Race 3:
URIANA BALE (5) has been racing in much stronger company than this and after running on well last week this distance range and class of race shouldn’t be an issue. GUNNADOO GRACE (2) is a winner at this track & distance and could lead. SPENCER GIBLET (1) has mixed his distances of late but can figure here. HUGS AND KISSES (7) can show pace.

Selections: 5-2-1-7

Race 4:
The first of the Great Chase heats at the Meadows starts here with some talented youngsters going around! PERFECTLY POISED (4) is unbeaten here, has plenty of early speed and with a PB of 30.06 will be hard to chase down. WEBLEC FLAME (8) has started to put his racing together as of late and comes here in good form, main danger. LUNAR STAR (1) is very talented and comes into this race with a lot of intrigue after coming off a distance racing campaign, watch betting. GREYSYND SHOCK (2) ran 30.11 in a trial here last week.

Selections: 4-8-1-2

Race 5:
The second of the Great Chase Heats is loaded with talent, MEPUNGA STELLAR (1) is drawn well and is the one to beat. RIDGE (8) is super talented but can be hard to trust. WEBLEC STAR (2) always seems to be luckless but has ability. SNAPPER SMITH (3) has been racing well and can’t be left out.

Selections: 1-8-2-3

Race 6:
Great Chase Heat #3 is stacked but PADDY WANTS PATS (2) goes on top for me, his PB of 29.83 is unmatched and while I would prefer him drawn out wide with some room to wind up, if he nails the start, it is all over. WEBLEC RANGER (1) is the clear danger, is drawn well and shows early speed. PEAKY BLAZER (4) is very talented and MCINERNEY (8) should go in all exotics.

Selections: 2-1-4-8

Race 7:
FANTASTIC RAVEN (3) was super impressive last start, running some seriously smart sectionals on the way to a 30.02 win and should be leading. GRACIE BALE (5) beat Qwara Bale at Geelong recently and should be strong in the run home. ARIZONA EYES (2) has a massive, massive motor and first up from a let-up could go well. GENTLEMAN THIEF (4) is the definite value.

Selections: 3-5-2-4

Race 8
BOUNCE BACK (5) is the clear class of the field and if he can avoid trouble early, he should be winning. YEAH EASY (1) always runs well here without winning. PUNK LASS ROCKS (2) should run well and BLAZING FURY (4) is a blowout chance.

Selections: 5-1-2-4

Race 9:
RUNNIN’ RIOT (4) drops in class and can run a really nice race here with the smaller field. At her best, ASTON CHAMPAGNE (2) would be a dominant winner in this race but it has been a while in between wins. FORCEFULLY (8) would prefer to be drawn inside but the smaller field suits and he can run well. KANGA LIGHTS (1) next best.

Selections: 4-2-8-1

Race 10
DARNUM DOZER (4) was impressive three starts back at Cranbourne, I’M NOT BUDGING (1) should be running well from SOCIETY ICON (8) who is coming off a winning streak at Healesville. ANOTHER VENDETTA (5) should be able to lob into a forward position.

Selections: 4-1-8-5

: R8 N5 – Bounce Back
VALUE BET: R9 N4 – Runnin’ Riot

QUADDIE ($36 for 100%):
R5 – 1, 2, 8
R6 – 1, 2, 4
R7 – 2, 3, 4, 5
R8 – 5
