Super field assembled for Group 3 RSN Silver Bullet

Monday night’s Group 3 RSN Silver Bullet (525m) has brought together a brilliant field, including Group 1 Topgun heroine Up Hill Jill, who has drawn box five in the $25,000-to-the-winner final.

The daughter of Premier Fantasy and Where’s Demonica will be choc-full of confidence after her all-the-way win in last Saturday’s Topgun, defeating a field who had amassed almost $3 million in prizemoney. Monday’s task doesn’t look to be much easier for the David Geall-trained speedster, taking on Topgun finalists Aqua Cheetah and Lightning Frank, plus a wave of new rivals on a night which will also see the running of the Group 1 Hume Cup.

Bewildering – fresh off an eye-catching second in last week’s Group 2 Geelong Cup – will have to contend with box four if he is to win his first Group race at The Meadows. Young gun Zara’s Entity (box three) looks to have drawn well, and is a last start 29.26 winner at Sandown in a Melbourne Cup Prelude.

Age doesn’t seem to weary the four-year and one-month-old Jesaulenko (box eight), winning four of his last five starts. The black chaser’s last Group final at The Meadows saw him finish second behind Lighting Frank in the Group 1 Temlee.

Lightning Frank will be looking to win his third Group race at The Meadows after an eye-catching third in last week’s Topgun, with the son of Black Magic Opal and Kirabilli Abbie starting from box six.
