Every Hume Cup Runner Extensively Analysed

The Watchdog’s analysis of Monday night’s $107,000 Group 1 Hume Cup (600m) at The Meadows is in line with most punters, as he is predicting victory to go the way of $1.90Fav, My Bro Fabio.

GRV’s form analyst says the Brooke Ennis-trained speed sensation, who has won nine of his past 11 starts, is suitably drawn in Box 2 and that he is a proven performer at The Meadows.

“My Bro Fabio excels from inside draws, and he hasn’t missed a place over the 600m trip at The Meadows with five starts for three wins and two seconds,” The Watchdog said.

“He has been racing in irresistible form in recent months, including victory in Group Three Canberra Cup, breaking the track record in the process.”

“While he wasn’t the best away in his Hume Cup heat, he quickly had the leaders in his sights, gathering them up mid race before going on to record the fastest heat win in an impressive 34.12sec.”

For punters wanting to have a bet in the Hume Cup who are put off by My Bro Fabio’s short quote, The Watchdog suggests taking a Trifecta of 2/4,6,7,8/4,6,7,8, which for $10 will give you 83.33%.

Meanwhile, The Watchdog has tipped Luca Neveelk ($1.60Fav) to win Race 6 on the card, the $35,000 Group 3 Silver Bullet (525m).

His suggested bet in that race is also a Trifecta, with the numbers 1/4,8/Field, which will also return 83.33% for $10.
